Books related to travel and location independence that I’ve read or listened to and enjoy. Recommendations that you might have are welcomed below in the comments section.

Vagabonding by Rolf Potts

This book was very important for me. If you’d like to hear the first chapter of the audiobook for free (which I’d highly recommend), it’s available in podcast form (The Tim Ferriss Show #70 “How to Earn Your Freedom“).

I actually downloaded this podcast episode on my phone and listened to it many, many times during my commute.

The Art of Non-Conformity by Chris Guillebeau

A good book that might make you question why you’re doing what you’re doing…

How to Travel the World on $50 a Day by Matt Kepnes (Nomadic Matt)

A practical guide to long-term, budget travel. We actually went to see Matt speak at a bookstore in Phoenix, and he is definitely an interesting, intelligent guy.
